Documents to Show at Irish Immigration (Dublin Airport or other entry point)
Make sure you keep these in your hand luggage, ready to show the immigration officer:
✅ Mandatory Documents
- Passport – Valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned stay.
- D Visa (Long Stay Visa) – As a Pakistani national, you must have a D visa stamped on your passport before travel. This is in addition to your CSEP.
- Original Critical Skills Employment Permit (CSEP) – Print the full permit sent to you by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment (DETE).
- Employment Contract / Offer Letter – From your Irish employer.
- Accommodation Details – Hotel or Airbnb booking confirmation.
- Proof of Funds – Ideally 2–3 months of bank statements to show you have enough money to support yourself until your first salary.
- Return Flight (optional but useful) – If you have a round-trip ticket or booking confirmation, it’s sometimes viewed positively.
- Health Insurance – If arranged by your employer, carry a copy. If not, it’s good to show you have a plan to purchase coverage.
